Business DescriptionProShares Ultra MSCI Japan is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that seeks daily investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond to twice (200%) the daily performance of the MSCI Japan Index. The index is a market capitalization weighted and comprised of companies domiciled in Japan. The fund's principal investment strategies include: (i) investing in equity securities and/or financial instruments (including derivatives such as futures contracts and swap agreements) that in combination, should have similar daily price return characteristics as twice (200%) the daily return of the index; (ii) investing at least 80% of the fund's assets in the equity securities comprising the index or in financial instruments that provide similar economic characteristics; (iii) employing leveraged investment techniques and/or sampling techniques; and (iv) investing assets not invested in equity securities or financial instruments, in debt securities and/or money market instruments. |
